Is the use of nmap really a good thing ?
>From what I've read (I'll try to check tonight ;) nmap is used to identify an old (SSH1 CRC32) exploit. Surely this implies that not patching your vulnerable boxen may some day help save humanity and you should be encouraged to give up patching and go to bed with a warm feeling, knowing that future humanity may one day thank you for this foresight... (as opposed to current humanity screaming at you for the spam routed via your rooted box)

Have fun,
Duncan
