[Nottingham] putty display stuff

Hi All,
I have remotely logged onto a unix box from win XP using putty. I can cd and ls but i cant 
pop up any xterms or xclock etc.

In the putty window i have set the DISPLAY variable to xxx.xxx.x.x:0.0 where the xxx.xxx.x.x is the ip address of the
win XP box (confirmed using ipconfig).

Any ideas ?
