Quick and dirty testing:

================================================================================
| Application |Win - Intel | Win - NVidia | Kubuntu - Intel | Kubuntu -
Nvidia |
================================================================================
| Sauerbraten |   200fps   |    400fps    |      200fps     |
100fps      |
| glxpshere64 |     N/A    |      N/A     |       60fps     |
64fps      |
| glxgears    |     N/A    |      N/A     |       60fps     |
900fps      |
================================================================================

So while Optimus support on GNU/Linux isn't as good as Windows (yet) or
even as good as vanilla Intel it's much better than what I was seeing
and it's good to know that the card itself is working. For now I think
I'll keep the (tiny) Windows partition purely for any games that happen
to choke.
