[1] This release also fixes a memory leak to unpriviledged users in /dev/rtc which I've seen quite a few companies "unofficially" patch against. This also effects 2.6, so I've heard but I've not checked this out as I don't run 2.6 (definatly sticking with 2.4 for production stuff). No grsecurity patch for 2.4.24 as of yet (or 2.6) but they both should be released within a few days.
