risk of starting a distro flamewar, can any one profer any advice for
which distro is best to run as a live system off a USB
key? I previously struggled with getting Mandrake to run on
my Dell Laptop (monitor, sleep / lid close etc) and went back to

I don't know about USB based distro's but I know Knoppix is a good
choice to run from a CDROM and it will allow you to save files to a USB
key. Good option if you really don't want to be touching the hard drive.<br>
