I use suse and have for a year. But lycoris (formally Lindows) is great

for beginners and is merged with Mandriva in a 64-bit version called <a

 href="http://wwwnew.mandriva.com/en/individuals/products/2006discoverylx">Discovery/Lx</a>.

So I would choose to stay with Mandriva. Are you running proggies that

will benefit from the 64-bit capabilities? Do you have the 64-bit

version with 2006? Most software just runs faster on the 64 machines

even in the 32-bit flavors.<br>
