probably no media in the drive<br><br>7) Right clicked on the 'smartcard' icon. Tried the 'Mount Volume' option, but got message as in 5) above.<br><br>8) Right clicked on the 'Generic STORAGE DEVICE' icon. Tried the 'Mount Volume' option, but got message as in 6) above.<br><br><br>Note:<br>I have put the following in my fstab file...<br><br>/dev/smartcard1 /mnt/smartcard vfat user,noauto 0 0<br><br>...and I have created the following directory...<br><br>/mnt/smartcard<br><br>Also, the card reader has four reader/writer slots (does this explain sda to sdd in the above printout?).<br><br><br>Hoping the above clearly shows what I'm doing wrong.<br><br>Thanks for your previous emails.
