connectivity for Mandriva and Gentoo sometime...</div></blockquote></div><br>It's not far simpler because Acer assumed the machine would be used for its basic functionality, and hid a lot of the rest of it (alongside breaking the Linux security model while they were at it!). I reckon many of the people now using Linux on the AAO know more about the OS than the Acer people who set it up!<br>
