</div>Don't want to start a flame was but I'm not sure that's true... I<br>
mainly use Gnome and often don't see qt at all until it's pulled in as<br>
a dependency for some unusual non-standard software. KDE is far from<br>
essential to a working Linux system. On the other hand there isn't a<br>
ready replacement for the GNU toolchains that are used for building<br>
the vast majority of FLOSS.<br>
