internet is a VirginMedia SuperHub dumbed down to being just a dumb<br>
modem whereby you shouldn't be able to run out of any system memory!<br>
Works very well. There's also dedicated distros for easily doing that<br>
job on almost any old hardware.<br><div class="HOEnZb"><div class="h5"></div></div></blockquote><br></div><div>This sounds like the best solution but sadly I don't have to networking skills or the time to build one my self. So it looks like a branded router is the quickest way to go for me, unless I could possible find a machine on freecycle which I could just chuck a distro on which would be more or less straight forward to configure. Any one know of such a Distro? Failing that I am currently looking at this <a href="http://www.scan.co.uk/products/netgear-wnr2000-black-n-300mbps-dsl-cable-router-4-port-switch-firewall-vpn">Netgear</a>.<br>
