Your very quiet advice is? Plug in and magic?
Meanwhile, my various "diskless" machines, including the one SSD + USB
memory stick hybrid system, do indeed run quietly ;-) The loudest noise
is the cooling fan or me clicking away at the keyboard...
You can do the "plug in and trust in magic", but as Linus discovered
early on, you can easily dent some of the magic depending on your use.
