Hi All,<BR>

I was hoping to get your thoughts on the best Linux distribution for the following:<BR>

I have an old laptop (Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300), from memory it is about 600Mhz CPU, 328 Meg RAM 30 Gig HDD.<BR>

<BR>

I am giving this to a friend even less computer literate than me, who is only used to windows, but wanted something to access the internet when away, so only a web browser really.<BR>

I have tried to put Ubuntu 12.04 on it, but both times it fails without giving details!<BR>
