<div dir="ltr">In my experience they can be anywhere on the network. They are user devices so they can be attached to an edge switch. I used to manage around 250 Cisco 7950 and 7945 phones in my previous position using Cisco Call Manager so I've got some experience there that tells me they aren't being completely truthful. <div>
