This seems to be the most useful, and probably a good place to post your<br>
issue.<br>
They advocate manually nuking your tmp folders (~/.kde and ~/.kde4).<br>
I'd back-up any autorun scripts or other tweaks you have made.<br>

This shows that Gnome suffers the same problem. No resolution (sorry).<br>

It looks like, for whatever mad reason, something thinks you have run<br>
out of space.<br>
Or maybe some installation got it's knickers in a twist.<br>

Is there any more info in /var/log/syslog or other log file?<br></blockquote><div><br>/var/log/exim4 Permission denied creating spool file so ownership and / or permissions are screwed up for exim and maybe for /var generally.<br>
<br>apt-get -f install wants to install these <br><pre>liblavfile-2.0-0, liblavjpeg-2.0-0, liblavplay-2.0-0, <br>libmjpegutils-2.0-0, libmpeg2encpp-2.0-0, libmplex2-2.0-0<br><br>but is unable to do so as everything is also reported as being in libmjpegtools.<br>
