So... My guess is that the language settings need to be set again for<br>
your boot loader... Make a backup of your system and then reinstall the<br>
boot loader?...<br>

Another possibility is that the language settings in the BIOS have been<br>
altered... Or that your BIOS battery is old/flat and the BIOS has become<br>
reset to a default state that does not correctly set the display or<br>
keyboard settings...<br>
