</head><body>There are too many variables to say for sure. One big unknown is the bios version. I'd leave just 2GB or even 1GB and check if the behaviour changes. Someone gave me 2 GB of RAM, so I increased the level from 1.5.<br></p><p>It looks as if you're correct about the limit of 2 GB. (I didn't previously realise there was a limit). I haven't opened up the desktop recently to look for details of model and numbers but my information is that the motherboard is a Packard Bell BV Cuba MS-7301 (version 1).
