Hi Guys,
I appreciate this has very little to do with Linux at all, BUT, as I am sure
you all agree, most of us still have to use Windows to some degree, and
ANYONE who has ever used Tomboy notes on their Linux boxes (tomboy comes as
standard with Ubuntu feisty) will know how usefull it can be, ever wished
you could use it on a windows box?
Your wish has been granted!!!
I enclose a brief HOWTO for those that are interested... Comments / feedback
welcome.

First....need mono
http://mono-project.com/Downloads
make sure you choose the stable windows executable.
then....tomboy
http://free-soft.ho.com.ua/bin/tomboy-win32-0.3.3-0.exe
Installation instructions
1. Install mono from *here* <http://mono-project.com/>. It is best to
choose short installation paths, like M:\Mono-1.1.
2. Remember the mono's installation path? Put it into %MONO%
environment variable:
- Right-click 'My Computer', click 'Properties'
- Click 'Advanced' tab
- Click 'Environment variables' button at the bottom edge of the
page
- In user variables section (or system variables:up to you)
click 'New' enter MONO as name and path (M:\Mono-1.1) as value
3. Launch the Tomboy's installer, and everything should go fine
Regards,
