Somebody, somewhere wrote something vaguely nice about Redditch:

> Redditch would suit me better as well, there's a couple of nice pubs

I live in Redditch - there are a few nice pubs about. Depends what you
are looking for - if it's something quiet and easy to find, there's a
few 'local'-ish pubs - Rose and Crown is great just off the motorway,
but some people complain it's a bit toooo quiet and 'dark' inside -
although it's not *that* bad!

Rose and Crown, Portway

Tardebigge Pub, Tardebigge [Two For One Pub]

Meadow Farm, Dagnell End [Milestone Pub]

The Dog, Mappleborough Green

The Oast House, Church Hill

The Old Washford Mill, Studley

The Bramley Cottage, Callow Hill [Ember Inns Pub]

There's a few pubs I know of anyway, and are reasonably decent. Most of
them server food IIRC.

Probably only one I know most and frequent the most is the Bramley
Cottage - only just come out of a renovation, and it's quite nice -
however it gets busy in the evenings, and is slap bang at the back of
Redditch!

Hope that helps - although pubs do get quite busy in Redditch in the
evenings, purely as there's nothing (at all!) for anyone to do to
socialise!
