You will develop, test, maintain and support software applications in PHP/MySQL to meet customer requirements for new functionality. You will mainly be using Totara/Moodle/Mahara: providing core codeline, plugins and integrations with major open and closed source software applications. At TDM we develop applications on the LAMP stack, so Linux and Apache experience will be a job requirement. Strength with other programming languages (eg Python, Ruby or Java) is an advantage. Another advantage is proficiency with front-end technologies such as HTML5, JQuery, CSS, etc.<br><br>Role Requirements<br><br>You will have experience of developing software applications in a collaborative environment. To succeed in this role, you will have in-depth knowledge of web technologies and knowledge of the LAMP environment in particular. You should also have experience of formal development methodologies, preferably Agile.<br><br>Having the ability to work flexibly both with others and on your own initiative, you will have excellent communication skills in both technical and teaching environments.
