Hi John,
Sorry I've missed the rest of this thread, been a busy week - looks like
you're getting there anyway.
I've bought all my NICs from computer fairs, you're almost guaranteed to
find a Realtek based card at one of those.
The other option would be either Scan or Dabs, although they will likely
be slightly more expensive than a fair.
