<p>Hi mark try running also from a USB stick as you may have a dirty or old lens problem in the drive. If it works then its likely the drive but I would think the best option is to try the kernel options first and try boot into run level 3 which is text mode only to bypass any graphical problems on initial boot. From here you can then switch to level 5 which is full gui and proceed to trouble shoot from there.<br>
