As I said in an earlier message, I was unable to load UBUNTU 12.04 from

the .ISO download, due to the lack of <b>pae </b>support <br>

within the Intel Pentium M processor of my ageing laptop ..... HOWEVER

.... <br>

By chance, when I opened UBUNTU 11.10 in VirtualBox I was invited to <b>upgrade

to 12.04</b> by the Update Manager.<br>

<br>

Three hours later ... I now have 12.04 running cleanly, with HUD, on my

ageing laptop.<br>

Strange but true !<br>
