Hello Matt,

Thanks for the answer.

The short answer to your question is that I don't know. If that were
the problem how would I be able to correct it quickly? Having
transferred the presentation to Powerpoint is there a short-cut to
re-sizing all fonts to fit page size? Doing this for 15-20 slides
individually would take too much time, as the presentations are timed
at a strict 10 minutes so the longer I am playing with software and
settings the less time there is to get my message across.

If there were a preventative fix I could apply in Impress before
transferring the file to a Windows Laptop, then please let me know what
it might be.

Best wishes,

Might be a stupid question but was it just that the windows font
that would have been used to replace the linux one was bigger and the
text was just pushed off the screen?

Just a thought,
Hello All,

I recently produced a presentation using OOo Impress on Ubuntu and
tested it in Slideshow mode, and it worked fine.

However when I delivered the presentation on someone's laptop using
Powerpoint on Windows, several lines were missing from the bottom of
each slide, which was embarrassing and meant I had to do much of the
talk from memory.

Do you know a fix that will prevent this happening in future (without,
of course, delving into proprietary software)?.

All suggestions welcome.

Thanks in advance,
