[SLUG] Winmodems, GRRRR!

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help.

I have a winmodem that totally refuses to work with Red Hat 8

I have done the download thing and got no where very slowly (It will not beat me!)

Could anyone point me towards a modem that works easily or where I could find a
download for:
Intel 383EP V.92 
with instructions my Granmother could understand.
