Mmmm. No. lol

I have tried to make the disk on my system, and this is how it went.

jasmin:/# dd if=/cdrom1/install/root.bin of=/dev/fd0
  2880+0 records in
2880+0 records out
1474560 bytes transferred in 100.315172 seconds (14699 bytes/sec)
jasmin:/#

(all as root)

Im not sure wether this makes a difference or not but was the floppy 
mounted when you did 'dd'? It wasnt on mine.

I have honestly never seen output like it came out with on yours, not 
that that is much help.
