That's great, thanks for the info.  This had been one sticking point in my
big Linux move.  But I'd heard that...

that as I haven't tried yet, or I don't know how well it does it, but I've

The main things I'd miss at the moment and Dreamweaver (I don't use it all
that much, but it's a nice tool for some things) and Paint Shop Pro (yeah,
we have the GIMP, but I see that as maybe more of a photoshop competitor? I
think I just like PSP and it fits the way I like to work.)  On the other
hand, I miss the Konquerer web browser and the Kate programmers editor on
Windows, plus the way FTP is so well integrated into KDE stuff, so there's
plenty of Linux only things to gain to set against what I'd lose by moving
over.

I got Fedora Core 2 going on my laptop.  Install was as neat as for Core 1,
and it seems to perform at least as well.  :-)
