It's all quiet on the Scarborough Linux User Group mailing list. Eerily
so.

So what's up everyone? How did the last meeting go? Any progress on the
Freedom Day? What bit of software has caught your eye recently?

I recently traded linux on my ibook to Mac OSX Panther. I'm really
enjoying the experience so far. Apple really have hit the nail on the
head with the interface. It's miles superior to any other that I have
seen. I've still got Mandrake 10 on my main box, but it's not had much
use recently.

I'm learning how to use Tinyfugue at the moment. It's a cross platform
mud client. I started playing Achaea (htttp://www.achaea.com) a couple
of months ago. I was a bit doubtful at first that anything text based
could match up to the likes of a modern graphical world, but Achaea has
a wonderfully talented team of writers. Once your imagination takes
over...

Try a Mud today!
