[SLUG] What happens if I replace the motherboard and CPU?

Hi

Another question.

It looks like I've got the go-ahead to upgrade my motherboard and CPU.
What will happen when I boot up after that?

Will I need to re-install Linux, or will it just autodetect and sort
itself out? Given that I'll be buying a current CPU and RH9 is a while
old, I'd imagine it might struggle to identify the new kit.

Thoughts?
