Hi,

Was good to finally make it to a SLUG meeting again and put some faces to
names. Hope my Perl talk was useful. I've put the slides and examples
online:
http://www.jwcs.net/~jonathan/articles.shtml

The Perl OOP tutorial I mentioned at the meeting is also available there.

I mentioned Perl 6 in passing. Here are a few links associated with that.

Perl 6 Language Specification (so far): http://dev.perl.org/perl6/
Pugs (Prototype Perl 6 runtime): http://www.pugscode.org/
Parrot (internals, the bit I hack on now and then):
http://www.parrotcode.org/

I forget who asked, but I said Perl 6 promised to do OOP better. If you're
interested, this document will show you what's to come:
http://dev.perl.org/perl6/doc/design/syn/S12.html

Have fun,

Jonathan
