[SLUG] CD/DVD drive icon disappeared

In KDE, Menu => Control Centre => Desktop => Behaviour => Device Icons 
tab, there is a number of tick boxes against devices.  If the 
automounted CD is unticked (and again, if you use KDE), one could try 
ticking it.

That's all I've found, so far, without going into a console.
