[SLUG] Fedora 15 no boot

In initial investigation, I read the manual for the HD and it says "if
your computer does not support auto detect (it does) go into the User
Define Mode and by referring written information on the product (you mean
I have to take it back out of the machine to read the label, cheers guys)
set the correct settings for Cylinder, Head and Sector and if some Bios
must be, set the HDD mode to LBA."

So, I thought, well, while I'm here, and before I go searching for all
that Cylinder, Head data, I can at least set the HDD mode from auto to LBA
and try that.

It only went and worked.

Arcane, but mercifully brief.

Until the next time, then, muckers, goodbye and thanks for all the fiche
