KDE on OpenSuse? What are you, some sort of communist dissident? ;)

I must admit it's rare that I do much playing about with distros now.
I run Ubuntu Desktop on my laptop and media server and Ubuntu Server
on a VPS. It works really well (until they push out system updates)
and I rarely experience any problems. I scanned through the mailing
list archives and was surprised at the amount of problems people had
with basic things, such as adding sound and graphics cards. Linux has
come a long way in the past few years.

I figured that there was a link with how 'user friendly' linux has
come and the low activity on lug lists.

I live in Hull now and we have a fairly active LUG, though I haven't yet been.

Good to see that there are folk still around.
