minimum install on two machines networked together via patch cables and a
hub.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" size=2>Machine One (P133) has emacs installed as
an editor and the Telnet server installed to facilitate a Telnet
connection from the Second Machine (P75).</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" size=2>Both Machines PING each other
successfully.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" size=2>When i try to use Telnet from the P75 to
connect to the P133 i get the following:</FONT></DIV>

initially wrong i loaded/enabled Network Services on both machines, allowing the
use of Telnet, finger, ftp and remote printers etc.</FONT></DIV>

connection but no firewall is installed or not that i can find one with
yast1 or 2.</FONT></DIV>
