<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Thanks for your help Jamie. xchat was installed as
you said. However, when I tried it last night I kept getting 'remote host closed
socket' and I could not get connected. I could connect to <FONT
face="Times New Roman" size=3>irc.lug.org.uk ok but not the room. I could
connect to other chat rooms ok. On the setup within xchat I set the channels
option to #scarboroughlug. But whether it was set or not did not make any
difference. Any suggestions?</FONT></FONT></DIV>
