I get the feeling that most of the Scarborough and Ryedale people
actively enjoy using the command line for doing stuff.

I am comfortable using the command line, but I am able to make more
efficient use of GUIs...

Anyway, I wanted to give a thumbs-up to Enigmail
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://enigmail.mozdev.org/">http://enigmail.mozdev.org/</a>). It's an extension for Thunderbird (and
other Moz mail clients) which automates all the command line GPG stuff
in Ryedale's tutorial (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.ryedale.lug.org.uk/howto.html">http://www.ryedale.lug.org.uk/howto.html</a>) - if
you don't have time to mess around on the command line you may find it
useful.

Having just setup 20+ (Windows) computers with Thunderbird and another
10+ to go in the next few days for my employer should I be worrying
about the lack of encryption in emails staff are sending to each other?
