Hello!

I have trouble getting my modem to work properly.

It is a Mr Modem ISA internal modem with the Rockwell ACFII chipset.
56K ISA modem S/N
00V23Yxxxxxxxxx
(http://www.mri.co.uk/tech-support/driver-lists/modems-nt4.htm)

The Main board uses the ApolloKT133A Chipset.

Between every set (line) of AT commands the modem takes 20 seconds to
respond.

echo ATDT1135232415 > /dev/modem works
(with 20 sec delay)

/dev/modem is /dev/ttyS1 on irq 3 uart16550 (spd_vhi)

Attached is the log from the last boot and some modem response during
the last
dial-up with pppd, options, chat .

                                 WHAT IS WRONG?
HOW can WE set it right?

Every help appreciated!

Bernd
