Hi guys,
           Sorry I haven't been to the meetings in a loooooonnnnnngggggg time 
but this thread caught my eye. I'm currently using more Python over Perl when 
the project suits it better although my current data capture scripts for a 
white paper where written in Perl.

For those that are interested the Python in a Nutshell book was not long 
released and Python 2.3 is currently in beta see www.python.org for more 
details.
