[sclug] kill tty2

The other day I managed to completely lock up console tty2. At the time I
tried to kill it as root from tty3. To cut a long story short, I could'nt
kill the pid of logon tty2, and I was getting no error msgs, so I gave up,
switched back to tty2 and gave it a Ctrl-D. End of problem.

However, for future refference / curiosity, how should this be done correctly
from a different remote terminal, at a remote physical location maybe using
ssh

 ?
