[sclug] php problems

Hi all,

Have been able to upload my site using gFTP, wow!

Now wrestling with getting it running because I built it using 
phpwebsite, have permission problems, but not sure how to get the php 
scripts to run.

Am I correct in thinking php is a scripting language, that I need to 
somehow get to run?

Any thoughts would be welcomed, thanks again, Stuart.

I can not believe how much I have learnt in the last few months, I was a 
complete newbie at the beginning of the year (and perhaps I still am as 
my question above might indicate!).
