[Sussex] Plea

Chaps,

This is becoming a familiar misuse of the list in the current climate..

I have a friend who used to work for me at Thomson as a
web-monkey^H^H^H^H^H^H master.  He fears he is going to be next in line for
the chop in the great Thomson clear down which has seen two teams totalling
40 people reduced to 6 people in a singel team.  Orignally there was Special
Projects(R&D) and Special Projects(Internal Development), now there is just
Technology Solutions - a great shame as it used to be a great place to work.

So anyhow, the guy is looking for a job in the sussex area (he lives in
Crawley) - he's not on great money in London and so he's prepared to look at
anything from about 15kp/a upwards.  He's not a great technician, he can
cope with HTML, CSS, ASP and a bit of javascript but not a lot more, but he
is a very good (and experienced) trainer and he's fantastic with people,
especially difficult people (which is why I hired him to deal with the
administration of the intranet site - he was a great buffer for day-to-day
noddy requests).

Anyway, the gist of all this is: if anyone comes across a vacancy in web
design, administration or training could they please give me a shout so I
can let him know.
