Phew,

Talk about throwin myself into the deep-end!

I've got my laptop up and running Core Linux, (it loads up to a prompt
anyway!) and am currently unzipping the Kernel.

It's a big bugger i'nit!

Think I'll let it run till the morrow and then compile it.

Just out of interest, if I've not compiled the kernel before, how come's
it's working?
