[Sussex] ENV probs

Hi all,

I've asked this before, but I will try again....

When I reboot my box and run:

cat /etc/profile.env

One of the lines that comes back is:

export JAVA_HOME='/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.1.02:`/bin/grep -e JAVA_HOME
/etc/profile.env | /bin/sed -e s/^.*'\(.*\)'$/\1/`'

Even if I change this to

export JAVA_HOME='/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.1.02'

and reboot, it changes back to the original form above.

_Relevent info_:

I installed this JDK manually and did an emerge inject to tell gentoo it
had been done. Prob was I put it in a different place than Gentoo would
have done by default (limited space where it would have chosen...) I
put a soft link to the install where it expects the package to be.
Could this be the problem?

Cheers all,

Dominic
