No, no, no... you're missing it completely ;)

Zoe Ball's character (that must in some part be attributable to her
separation) must be dependent on her child hood experiences.  As Zoe is
the daughter of televisual-learning's greatest ever presenter (Johnny
Ball) it can be derived that some aspect of her character must be
derived from the pressure of her fathers fame and indeed her own ability
to cope with her (and her husbands) fame must be in some way effected by
her early life....

<we can safely cut out several thousand lines of rhetoric and political
posturing here>

... and so Zoe single status can be attributed to one of two things:

1. It is a direct result of Baird's creation of television in an attempt
to woo his childhood sweetheart (Harold Macmillan), and thus symptomatic
of the moral decline that has been epidemic in Europe since Columbus
discovered that a potato with a large hole bored through it could
provide relief from stress on long voyages.  Thus it is obviously the
fault of Bill gates.

2. Zoe came home to find Fat-boy rebuilding her Linux From Scratch box
to Windows XP whilst wearing nothing but one of those nobbly, rubber
thimbles that old-fashioned clerks wear (and not on his index finger..
oooooh no!).  Zoe obviously had to leave old Norman and find a real man
who runs Debian Unstable on a 2.5 series kernel - Dobbo is at this very
moment brylcreaming his moustache in prepation for his triumphant
`apt-get install zoe-ball` :)  

Of course the obvious fault here is that the music industry has so
screwed up society that a whole portion of the UK actually consider a
former member of the Housemartins to be cool enough to marry Zoe Ball -
now that _is_ sick!
