As you are aware, I am about the most pro-Microsoft person on the list.

I disagree.

The problem with ASP is not that it's bad, it's that it's EVIL. ASP is a
nasty, nasty, nasty cludge, invented for the sole purpose of RESTRICTING
developer capability, and allowing people with qualifications and
experience such as the following to claim to be "developers of interactive
web sites"

- City & Guilds in Plumbing
- O-level, grade E in history
- MCSE

Of these qualifications, the City & Guilds is the only one widely accepted
in the marketplace as a route to a profitable career that benefits
society.
