A good plan - I see a lot of subscription notification but not that many

Welcome Ciaran, another East Grinsteadian.. we have a respectable number of
Linux geeks in East Grinstead now..  If you need a lift to/from LUG meets
(the next one is Thursday) then give Dominic or I a shout as we will be
travelling down from EG.

For simplicity I'd go with:

Somewhat less than 1GB for swap.
Around 100MB for /boot (you can get by with less, but you might want several
kernels)
Everything else as /

..You can get away without a seperate /boot partition but it's nice to leave
it seperate and unmounted incase you get drunk one night and forget and
mistype `rm -rf /root` :)
