[Sussex] gentoo on a PentiumII celeron

All those Gentoo experts out there...

To what do I need to set my make.conf flags in order to build gentoo on a
PentiumII Celeron machine?

The build has faile several times even with little or no changes made to the
make.conf file.

I suspect a celeron chip probably requires some alterations, but I am not
sure what settings to use?
