I've been running 2.5.68 since yesterday!  I'm currently sitting her wondering 
why 2.5.68 has caused my framebuffer-console to be taller than the viewable 
area of the screen (??) and why gnome-terminal isn't working properlly under 
it (should be noted that Emacs e-shell and the non-X terminal sessions are 
running fine).

Doing a recompile as I speak now to try and track down this problem :(
