Hi Matt

The best place to go for advice is www.accu.org (Association of C and C++
Users) website and check out the book reviews section. It is generally
considered best to avoid ALL C and C++ books by Herb Schildt.

I personally use Standard C by Plauger and Brodie but it's not really a
learn how to type of book.
