What no Lilypond?

Once you get the hang of it it's nice and fast and produces great output.

I reccomend it.

You can use it with Rosegarden to produce printed output of Rosegarden
sequnces.

Subject: Musical Notation Software [Was]: [Sussex] Scan-do?

Chaps,

Musical notation software: - scanning www.freshmeat.net came up with
this list of music notation software:

http://freshmeat.net/projects/brahms/?topic_id=57%2C99
http://freshmeat.net/projects/abc2mtex/?topic_id=901%2C861%2C120
http://freshmeat.net/projects/chordpack/?topic_id=234
http://freshmeat.net/projects/linuxultimuse/
http://freshmeat.net/projects/mup/?topic_id=113%2C120%2C248
http://freshmeat.net/projects/mux2d/?topic_id=106%2C120%2C154
http://freshmeat.net/projects/noteedit/?topic_id=120%2C248%2C122
http://freshmeat.net/projects/nutation/?topic_id=901%2C120
http://freshmeat.net/projects/iabc/?topic_id=120%2C248
http://freshmeat.net/projects/rosegarden/?topic_id=120%2C248%2C113

... I may be a musician, but as a musical illiterate I am not best
placed to talk about stave notation. There are however some great
guitar TAB editors available as well. Again searching freshmeat will
throw up a few of these.
