Installing Gentoo WAS: RE: [Sussex] Hello from an new list member - a bit about me

Ok so some of the luck wishing might of paid of but I got back about 8
last night so didn't get very far as you can imagine.
What I have is the CD issue of Linux format that has the stage1 install
plus a load of packages, so I started going through the install
documents and got to the download portage, no this isn't a nice thing on
56k with 2 hr cut off. So the aim for today while at work is get the
files for portage and burn them on a cd. (Any ideas where??).

But so far so good tbh it's not been that hard to get where I have.
